Minecraft

A popular survival sandbox game. You've probably heard of it. I worked as a game designer contracted to Microsoft to be lent out to partnered companies to provide critical design feedback for their content and represent Mojang's brand.

Face The Music

A rhythm-based 2D platformer. All the enemies move to the beat of the music. I made this project as a proud member of a team of three, and was our producer, as well as being responsible for our audio programming, art, music composition, level design, and systems design.

Little Green Sprite

A 3D puzzle platformer about a sprite whose job is to carry the sun back into the sky. I was the producer on this project, and I was also responsible for our level design, model fabrication, and all audio assets.

The Lighthouse Repairman

This was my first real exploration of level design, made for a design class. I'm really proud of the cozy beachside space I was able to make with, at the time, only very basic modeling experience in Autodesk Maya.

Buried Treasures

A little puzzle game about digging up treasures. This project really helped me understand Unity as an engine and was my starting line for familiarizing myself with C#. During this project, I felt for the first time like someday I could make games for a living.

Rebound

A vertically-scrolling arcade shooter where the ship you control cannot shoot. As the first team project I was Producer for, Rebound is very special to me. I was responsible for all its graphics programming, its music, and the idea for the game itself.

Vegismite

A roguelite dungeon crawler very heavily inspired by The Binding of Isaac. This was my first project as part of a team, and I was in charge of writing all our music, doing all our audio programming (thanks, FMOD!!!) and making around half of our art assets. I'm still pretty proud of the music!

Match

A little match-3 game operating entirely in the windows console, this is the first game I ever completed. It helped me grasp C.
